Under the supervision of the Vice-President, Sales, we are looking for a Business Development Representative for the Quebec City region.
The candidate will work in conjunction with the distribution network afin to identifier and develop sales opportunities with office furniture industry specificators (ergonomists, architects, designers, etc.).
Your Role
- Promote the Company’s values
- Identifier key projects and decision-makers to secure product specifications
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing customers while identificating new opportunities
- Collaborate with other sales representatives and internal sales coordinators to close projects and tenders
- Monitor and suggest work methods to meet deadlines and coordinate activities with other departments
- Train and develop the skills of the distribution network afin order to maximize sales
Profile Sought
Qualifications:
- Good understanding of the distribution network and the A&D community
- Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving and judgment skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and CRM
- Ability to travel as needed to 3 plants in the Montreal area
- Bilingualism (French-English)
- Experience in the manufacturing industry an asset
- University degree in a related field or equivalent experience, an asset
General skills:
- Commitment to understanding and satisfying customer needs to build lasting relationships
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives

Workplace
