Your Role
- Assemble aluminum, glass and steel parts;
- Prepare, package and identify components;
- Operate cutting and machining equipment; miter saws, CNC, screwdrivers, etc;
- Handle and assemble glass doors; heavy and bulky parts;
- Detect defects (scratches, deformations, etc.);
- Ensure product quality at all stages of production;
- Maintain and manage the production schedule and ensure adherence to production schedules;
- Coordinate, with the project manager and the technical team, manufacturing deadlines, capacities and challenges;
- Keep manager informed of work progress and schedule;
- Comply with the plant’s various work methods, standards and safety regulations.
Profil Sought
- Relevant experience in industrial manufacturing of wood, metal, PVC or other materials
- Experience in door and window manufacturing an asset
- Familiarity and comfort with metric and imperial measurements (i.e. mm vs. inches)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and 2D plans
- Experience with fabrication tools; screwdrivers, miter saws, CNC, etc.
- Visual attention, attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity
- Physical stamina (working in a standing position)
