The candidate will be responsible for promoting the wide range of products within the architectural and design community, with the aim of increasing specifications and revenues.
In addition to excellent commercial skills, the ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
Specification Representative
- Actively represents and develops business relationships by organizing presentations and other promotional activities with major developers, architectural firms and designers in order to position Dessana upstream of projects.
- Identify relevant projects, key players and decision-makers in order to increase, secure and maintain product specifications.
- Assist the A&D community by providing them with detailed information/specifications on the product range.
- Always on the lookout for profitable opportunities and new markets; works closely with sales representatives to unearth all relevant opportunities.
Skills and requirements
- College or university degree in a related field or equivalent experience in the field an asset.
- Solid, experience-based understanding of the A&D community; proven success in working with architects, designers, contractors, facility owners and other specifiers
- Demonstrated ability to manage a sales team
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving and judgment skills.
